Flight 627: the new Flight 815?

FOX has released a three-minute trailer for Fringe -- also known as the show that has me almost as impatiently excited as the Lost pilot -- and you can bet that trumps any personal post from me.

I was freaking out while I watched it. The X-Files wishes it was ever this freaky.

And if that weren't enough, about 72 seconds of the Dollhouse pilot have surfaced.

I believe my exact reaction after watching both back-to-back was something along the lines of -- and I'm trying to get the exact wording and inflection -- HELLS YEAH!

(Also? Tahmoh Pinkett is HOT. I thought so all during my love affair with Battlestar Galactica and I'm just hoping we get to see him lose the suit.)

I need me some good news shows as some of our previous faves (GA, Heroes) are starting to fall on hard times.

If Fringe delivers, I think it can easily top Heroes and come close to Lost. The concept is intriguing and I hear good things about the female FBI agent. (It's going to take me a while to separate Josh Jackson from Pacey Witter.) As for Dollhouse, I love every single thing Joss does -- he even got me to read comic books -- so I don't think that'll change.

What is WRONG with me today?! Hormones!

It's okay, you're in a hormone-friendly environment. Trust me when I say that I have been showing considerable restraint in my lust for Rob Pattinson. I thought he was cute in Goblet of Fire, but dude. I guess it's the vampire makeup. And the impossibly long eyelashes. And...yeah. I'll stop now. (Thankfully he's, like, 23 or something, which is WAY too young, but at least he's not jail bait.)

Hmm... now I’m really curious to see the Fringe trailer. The linked video is not playable outside of the US... hmm... nor are any of the other video clips I’ve stumbles across.

I guess I’ll just have to wait to see it when it actually airs.

I'm probably going to follow your lead re: any further Fringe stuff. I usually download all the leaked new show pilots when they begin appearing in July-early August, but I think I'm going to pass this year. I really think I want to be surprised. Besides, sometimes a lot changes between the leaked pilots and the version that premieres on the networks. But trust me -- it looks fantastic, and it is the show getting the most buzz out of all the other shows. (I'm sure Dollhouse will be the same way come January.)

Ohhhh Fringe looks excellent. And Joshua Jackson is in it! Sort of have a school girl crush on that boy! Very excited!

Who doesn't love Pacey? I'm excited to see him on TV again, too. :)
